Performance characteristics
The density is 2.1-2.3T / m3. High temperature resistance-the working temperature is 250 ℃ Low temperature resistance-with good mechanical toughness, even if the temperature drops to -196 ℃, it can maintain 5% elongation. Corrosion resistance-For most chemicals and solvents, it is inert, resistant to strong acids and bases, water and various organic solvents. High lubrication-the lowest coefficient of friction in solid materials. Non-adhesion-is the smallest surface tension in solid materials, does not adhere to any substance, and its mechanical properties have a very low coefficient of friction, which is only 1/5 of that of polyethylene. This is an important feature of perfluorocarbon surfaces. And because the intermolecular force of the fluorine-carbon chain is extremely low, polytetrafluoroethylene is not sticky. High Lubrication-has the smallest friction coefficient of 0.04 among plastics.
Use
Can be processed to make gaskets, seals, lining partitions, scrapers, guide rails, and electrical insulation parts and bridge support sliders used at various frequencies.
